Ever since I got my hands on a pirated 4 song demo/album called "4 ways to scream your name" I couldn't wait to hear these guys. Then I found out they were from the UK, and had never come to Canada or the US. They continued to be one of my favourite bands for the past year, and when I found out they were coming close by the drive had to be made.
They definitely didn't disappoint. They played about 7 songs I think, finishing up with Escape Artists never Die, an awesome track, and my favourite. They also played the Art of American football which was surprisingly better live than I thought it would. Tyler and I were pretty much the only kids in the crowd who knew these guys, but the crowd reacted sooo well. Nobody was singing along, but normally an opening band doesn't get too much attention. FFAF broke that normality, they played an amazing set, very good musicians, watching Kris play up close was crazy (He's the British Tepai). For the rest of the night I heard so many kids saying how much thI loved FFAF and that it was the best set of the night etc. Very awesome for their US debut tour. Their new 7 song ep (7 ways to scream your name) is coming out in October on Ferret Music, I highly suggest you go out and buy this album. Last note: I wish they had albums with them, I've been looking everywhere all sold out, so I bought a sweet t-shirt instead.
