Could you see the look of fear on my face? If you were there it may have been apparent. My success without flash at shows was... well... none. And once again, as I had feared, they were saying, "1 song, no flash..." My thoughts on this were mixed.

First: Why?

Second: Umm... well I guess I am lucky to get the shot, and if they suck I just won't put the pix up. Yet still there was this fear that since everyone adores TMV that they were expecting good pix.

I dont know if I would call these photos good, but I managed to pull it off well enough that I feel comfortable putting them up. Now that you all are ready to kill me for not talking about the set... here we go.

They were awesome... no doubt about it. If you can see them you should. It is one of the most interesting sets you will ever see. Cedric is the king of mic swinging, doing things like dropping the mic and kicking it back up to himself. And Omar reminded me of... well... the second coming of Jimi Hendrix. With the leftyism, and well the everything... Yeah he is great.

They played all the songs I was hoping for, and none of them sounded just like the album, maybe it was the live feel, or maybe it was the fact that they added roughly 8 minutes extra per song of just jamming out, but it was definately the album plus some.

Complaints, sometimes the extra bit became just a lil tedious, the songs are long already, and there were times I was hoping for them to just get on to the next song.

Still I have hadn't seen any band before this that could mesmorize a crowd, or set it off, with a simple guitar rhythm or bass line. Great shit.
