I'd heard of these kids before, but never seen them or actually listened to them. I guess their album didn't come out on the net, and I don't buy before I sample, oh well. Was I ever glad I saw them tonight, it's unfortunate they only accepted american moula at the show, or I would have bought their latest album for sure. But apparently they're coming to Ottawa soon, so it's all good, I'll buy one then.

Their set was super solid, the crowd went nuts, some of them too crazy, which sucked, nobody goes to shows to get in fights, but some of these kids think otherwise. This Day Forward had just played Hellfest the day before where 4 fights broke out during their set. At Rye, they told the kids to knock it off, when they didn't, they left the stage frustrated before their last song.. It was unfortunate, but I'm lucky enough to see them in 3 weeks so its no biggy. Anyways solid solid set, Ottawa is going to eat this shit up like candy. Can't wait.
