KICK ASS. I don't know why I didn't buy their album right then and there. I'd seen the Explosion before in March with Strike Anywhere, spent my money on booze that night, and with the $5.25 for a beer at the Congress Centre was once again left without money to buy their CD. Although I much prefer to see them in a smaller venue these guys are awesome.

I can't describe their music, but they play with so much energy you can't help but feel the fast guitar riffs and beat of the drums. The Explosion is definetly a good opening act for AFI, I didn't get a chance to get in the pit what with the camera and all, but I really would have liked to.

The photos I shot without a flash, which means I had to turn the shutter speed down substantially, hence the blurryness. Check out their website, download their mp3s, good stuff.
