-Brian Garson||Boy Sets Fire Official Website

First off thanks to Kelly from PRS concerts for hooking me up with the guestlist to come in and see Boy Sets Fire. I actually timed this perfectly, leaving the GR show halfway through RCR's set, BSF had just taken the stage and were doing sound check.. Unfortunately, there was no one there, which was really convenient for taking photos. I actually only took about 15 photos, but shooting at Barrymores is so much better and easier (especially with the crowd of 50 on hand, wasn't too hectic). I saw Catherine there, should have yelled at her for not being at Good Riddance but oh well.

Anyways BSF put on a really good set, I caught almost the entire thing, they played some quality songs, including one of my personal favorites "handful of redemption". It was interesting watching the singer sing with his hands down his pants, and he really didn't look anything like I thought he would but yeah, the set was good despite the lacking crowd (40 people on the floor?) but I'm happy I got the opportunity to check them out live, too bad they weren't on GR's bill. Maybe next time.
